The roller furling line runs down the starboard side to the aft end of the cockpit. The main halyard, and the spinnaker halyard run from cheek blocks at the bottom of the mast to turning blocks outboard of the forward position of the hatch cover, then back to a double rope clutch, serving a winch, backed up by a cleat. The coiled lines hang at the forward wall of the cockpit. There was plenty of room for this set-up, and we could have run 4 lines if we had wanted them, and still maintain correct feeding angles for the clutches and winch.I really only need the main halyard, and the roller furler to single hand. I don't play with the vang when single handing, and have heaved to several times to go forward and reef the main.I have also heard of people bringing the vang, and a single-line reefing system back to the cockpit.Hope that helps,DavidLady Lillie
