Today when I was sailing I went to to rig the reefing lines only to find they weren't aboard. We did happen to have long piece of light polyester line. I wondered if there was a way to rig a single reef line instead of the 2 line system provided. Any suggestions on how to install/make a single line reefing system? (note 1:I have a standered 2003 216 sail. The booms only modifications are... 1.The removal of the topping lift. 2. The addition of a boomkikker.(Boomkikker is the name of a product that is composed of 2 fiberglass battens and aluminum fittings for the boom and mast.(Its purpose is to support the boom.) (note 2:I have equipment to drill and tap holes in the boom.) Luke
