I'm thinking of switching engine controls on my 1979 Hunter 30 (YSM12 engine) from the Edson pedestal to a single lever control like the Morse CH1200. Does anyone have a similar setup, and if so, does it work well?My reason for switching is that my Edson is an older one, and the controls don't function well. I don't know about newer Edsons, but whoever designed that thing - putting the cable clamp in the middle of the pedestal tube - ought to have to try and fix one - completely ridiculous design.As a side note, can anyone point me to these Edson data sheets I've been reading about in the archives. I'm having trouble locating them. Thanks.
