I have a question for 25 Oday owners about setting up my boat for sailing single handed by bringing the main sail and foresail halyards back to the cockpit access. I have seen this done before, but did not get a chance to talk with the owner. Has anyone done this and what advice do you have? What is the best equipment to use, shold both line be brought back on one side or because of the narrow space between the rail and the cabin roof slider do they have to be split up? How has it worked out for you? By the way, has anyone put a heater inside their Oday 25? We live and sail in the Pacific NW and it could extend our season abit to keep things a little dryer. What type did you use, where did you put it, how did it work out. Thanks!

Check out the photos on this site contributed by someone who has done the job. Go to the Boat Info Center tab on the home page, choose Boat photos and specs, select the Oday 25 from the menu on the left of the page, and then choose the "Lines Aft" photo article from the box of choices right under the list of Oday 25's for sale. I remembered this posting because I was thinking of doing the same for my 23. I think there may also be a posting that went with the photos that should be in the archives on this site. One piece of advice: remember that when you bolt your organizers from inside the cabin, you have to do so from the actual underside of the cabin roof, not from the underside of the interior liner. This means you will have to cut an access hatch inside the liner in order to get to the underside of the cabin. Have fun.
