Hunter 19_93-96 Millerton lake, Ca
I sail my H19 single handed at our local lake with no problems except one, leaving the tiller to climb atop the cabin top to raise or lower a sail. So. I was thinking, is there a way to rig the halyards to be controled from the cockpit? Maybe a pair of blocks with cam cleats located at the base of the mast? Does this sound feesable to anyone, any help would be appriciated. Jeremy

Well...

You might install a camcleat on the side of the mast to hold the halyard in place while you go back and pull up the slack. You have the right idea that you're safer in the well, but it's awfully hard to pull it all up from back there.
