single cylinder diesels

hello, not the motor in my boat (irwin) but am looking at an oday 30 with a single cylinder diesel. is this enough motor for this boat, dont they shake a lot?

Don't Worry Too Much

I had an O'Day 27 with a single diesel (Yanmar). IF you keep it aligned properly and IF the motor mounts are not shot, it isn't too bad. Rick D.
