My 36MKII is equiped with Raytheon ST-60 wind, depth and speed instruments as well as an ST5000 sailpilot. They are SeaTalked together. I have had the wind inst out three times due to giving wrong readings, not holding memory and just plain ol going crazy. Sometimes the wind, after the upteenth calibration, will just flip out 90 to 120 degrees off and then you can't autotack. Due to major frustration I am wondering if one were to change to either Nexus or Simrad on the depth, wind and speed will they SeaTalk to the ST5000? Anybody got any suggestions or input?
