Looks like a very interesting concept in having everything in one place and capability of monitoring numerous draws on the system or too complex.

That's a slick package. I wonder how it calculates state of charge and how much programming is required to set it up. Because it has a shunt, it might just be an amp counter or is it more complex like the Balmar SG 200.

It does look cool. They claim “Our unique Real Time Battery HealthTM algorithm ensures very precise battery state of charge and health measurements”, so maybe more sophisticated than just amp counting, but hard to say how much better. It would be nice to have NMEA interfacing to be able to show things like tank levels from more than just the display panel.

They have an app for your phone that duplicates the panel.

The Simarine is a pretty cool device, great screen and a great concept. Our only complaint, after many months of testing them, is that the battery monitor portion is not nearly as accurate as we had hoped for.
