I have to rebed some items on the deck of my boat. I have several tubes of Sikaflex caulking, left over from an old construction job. For those not familiar with it, this is a high-end construction caulking. Would people advise against using this caulking and instead use 4200, or do they think this is equal quality?

Which one? Some of that construction Sika is stronger than 5200 and some is silicone and some is.......

I thought I still had some of the sikaflex, but I must have used it all up. What I do have is "Quad" for windows, siding & roofs. It says it's permanently flexible, for use on fiber-cement, vinyl, wood & aluminum and seems to be made of xylene and synthetic rubber. I also have some GE silicone sealant. Do you think either of these would be appropriate? (This is for sealing/rebedding some deck penetrations.)
Why use something that may or may not be appropriate. Get some 3M 4200 or some Butyl Rubber Tape and use that.

Depends on what you're doing and how big the boat is... replacing all the ports on a 40' catamaran could probably use up 100'.
