Just a few months after purchasing our O'Day 28 the depthsounder began alarming continuously. I talked with Signet (MK172 model) who advised a button repair (new button and boot) may help. Since the hole is already in the bukhead, I sent the unit off for repair.
$200 later, I will have the offeding transistor repaired, along with a new button and button boot. Aaron at Signet is including a new gage cover gratis! I will report on the gages condition on return. Cleaning and calibration is supposed to be included.
I am still contemplating adding additional gages, including moving to NMEA network gages and multi display head(s)- Garmin, Raymarine, etc.
