What is the correct tension setting for the shrouds on this boat? Thanks

Loose

Try Loose tension guages. They will give some place to start from. I like my lowers to go slightly slack - though not sagging, when they are leward. It is hard to get a definitive answer to your question. You do not want to drive your mast down through the cabin top, but you do want it to be straight when heeled over. Tension guages and then trial and error.

rig tuning guide

You don't need a Loos gauge to tune the rig, but it's handy to have if you take the rig down alot, as on trailerable boats. Here's a few links that'll help you. The second one is from the C&C owners manual. http://www.ballengerspars.com/cgi-bin/ballenger/mtguide5-97.cfm http://www.cncphotoalbum.com/doityourself/masttuning/tuning.htm http://members.tripod.com/~daysailers_colorado/tuningguide.html
