Shroud tension & Prop shaft oil

Hi , I have just changed my shroud eyebolts to the U bolt upgrade. They are very heavy duty and I recomeend them. I have a Loos P2 tension Guage and was wondering if anyone would have the proper tension setting for the shrouds, chainplate and the Fore and back stay. On another note, I have heard that it is a good idea to slip some oil on the area that the prop shaft goes through the hull. Can anyone fill me in on this and tell me what kind iof oil to use.

I owned a 27 with an inboard Atomic 4 and standard flax packing in the shaft log for 15 years and never put any lubricant on it. The water dripping though does it for you. Might be different with the dripless type. Found this though http://www.seamagazine.com/hob/DM_article.asp?id=2814.
