Hey, just to let you all know. I adjusted my shrouds so they're even port to starboard, the mast looks straight, and the split backstay is even according to the Loos tension gauge. The good part, the boat sails to weather much better, points better, just generally sails better (surprise, surprise). Thanks for all the support. You know, according to real scientific measurements like pounds, etc., as opposed to "shrouds should give approximately one inch with a 50 pound force at shoulder level" as the Catalina manual suggests. Any comers, come on.
