I've been getting conflicting information about where the main shroud from the top of the mast goes. Here is a picture where mine is now. Some say yes some no. :banghead:Go figure. Now let's see what we get here.

That was my first thought also, JohnVTX.

To 2 OLD PIRATES, can you please clarify your question?

If you are referring to how is comes through the spreader, it is correct.

Are you talking about the forward lower being loose and not thru the spreader base like the aft lower is.

It has to do with the shrouds placement through the spreader. The Top Mast Shroud (heavier one) closer to the bow and the intermediate one closer to the Stern. Hope that is a little clearer.

The trees are definitely an issue.
That is how my boat is rigged.

The cap shrouds (the ones that go all the way to the top) are bigger and need to be on the bigger turnbuckle and chainplate at the deck. If they are, you're good.

Hi Jackdaw:
My concern is the placement in the sprader. Should the Cap Shrouds be in the front or back hole of the Spraders.
