shroud lines

hey folks just splashed my 1993 23.5 and have a question second year with this and after raising the mast I think the shroud lines are not correct I have installed the longer ones outside the lifeline and the shorter ones inside the shroud lines, which is wrong ? second longer shroud lines hook to which ubolt on boat ? the front one or the back one ? thanks ahead a time for any input ...

correction : sorry the shorter shroud lines are installed "inside" the lifeline ,

On our 98 h240, the shorter shrouds are inside the lifeline and attached to the forward u-bolt. The primary shrouds (running from outside edge of spreaders) run outside of the lifeline and attach to the rear u-bolt. Hope this helps.

thanks for the response I got it firgured out yesterday, useful info here I remove the mast in winter as it was shrunk wrapped without mast hence every spring I have to run the lines through the clutched and had one heck of a time trying to fish it through but then tried fishing line wrapped tightly round the line shrinking it and making is slip right through no problem.
