Looking to see if anyone has any suggestions of a good shrinkwrapper in MA. My 30' catalina is in Quincy with her mast still up. Anyone know someone that is reasonably priced, quaility work and is insured?
I read the Sept/Oct. 2005 copy of "Good old Boat" magazine. There is a really great article written on making a working cover for your boat.I spent the past weekend making the frame and will be putting on the tarps tonight. My cost was less than one shrink wrapping.I will be able to reuse the frame & tarps.I will be able to work underneath as long as it is not too cold.It will keep the elements off plus keep rain & snow away from the cockpit.I can take a pic if you like and post later.Good luck
We shrink wrapped last winter. Look in the Globe and in Soundings for an independent. This fall we ordered a boom tent from Fairclough in New Haven for our 35 footer. It will give us better access and more air circulation. We expect a 10 year useful life. It will pay for itself in 3 winters.
