I have a 1980 C30 & I don't understand why you have this problem.
Mine has a very short encapsulated hose from drain to bilge.
Do you have this setup?

It is always an adventure when difficulty occurs in those hidden places. (No disrespect intended to the engineers on this forum, but most of us have found places that were intended to work correctly forever on our boats.) The "snake" idea might work. Try using a coat hanger type wire, but bend over the last half inch or so of the wire so you do not poke a hole in the tubing. Proceed gently to try to clear any blockage or to find the pathway to the bilge. If you can find where the tube enters the bilge you might be able to work from that end rather than from the shower drain end. Replacement of that tube may be necessary and difficult. Best wishes.

On a general note,
It would be much more helpful if members fill out their
profile as in, boat make & year. This would shortcut to far better
& focused responses in adding a helping hand.

Shadow... That would be "Profiling". and we all know now that would be a bad thing.... Additionally, how would you deal with this profile information?
- The boat I own now?
- The boats I serviced and repaired the 6 years of working in a marina?
- The boats I learned about and helped resolve problems with friends?
- The education and training I gathered through the years in boat systems?
- The tasks I think I can do if they need doing?
- The times I just want to add a thought about an issue?

Information is just stuff.
I tend to think knowing how to discriminate/filter information then use information is power.

(1) Doesn't the water drain from the pan? First Solution: Don't use the shower unless you are willing to sponge out the floor pan. Second Solution: Keep following this thread until someone suggests a solution that works for your boat. Third Solution: Install a cockpit shower.
(2) Doesn't the water reach the bilge? First Solution: Find out why it doesn't reach the bilge and correct the problem. (Note: See Second Solution above.) Second Solution: Locate the shower drain sump that may be installed beyond/under the shower drain. That course of action might involve looking into some cabinetry or lockers for access to the bilge area where that sump might be located. Use the direction of the tubing going out of the shower floor pan as an indicator of where that sump might be located. The sump might be blocked in some way or the small pump might not be working correctly to pump out the water. Repair or replace the shower sump.

I have heard the quickest way to clear out an anchorage is to send the oldest guy up to the cockpit to take a shower.

I do all I can to protect my private info from marketers & scammers,
especially on the Net. Thus, I never have privacy problems.
Members here, invent a screen name, What they wish to share is entirely up to
them & personal. Can giving your make & year jeopardize privacy on this site? I doubt it.
You have a right to disagree after all, it's about how you feel personally.
That being said, what if his boat is a different model or year than mine
& I offered him non-pertaining info?
And because of this, what if he spends his time & effort based on my post,
only to find that what he has is a different design & my advice was wrong for him?
My approach has always been that the shortest distance between two points is a straight line.
At times, the best answers come from sharing what necessary information is needed.
But, we're going off on a tangent here.

Any luck with your problem? If fixed & interested, I modified my shower drain to bypass my bilge using a plastic
type modified container that fits & an internal float bilge pump with a discharge line tied-in downstream
of my main Rule 2000 pump. This way, I do not get shower water in my bilge.

Offtopic: I think you mean "Farmer's Insurance". I've got to quit watching so much TV.
Why?? Would you ever put shower water or sink water (grey water) into the bilge? It will start smelling etc..You have to empty the bilge of the grey water and you put all the hair etc through the bilge pump and the bilge pump will not completely evacuate the bilge...Not a good idea. Shadow has the right idea to have a sump and separate pump..
