My yacht club is Branched Oak Yacht Club outside Lincoln NE. 1800 acres, it is a smaller lake than my preference, but a quant setting does have advantages.

Very happy to be a part of this sailing and boating community.

The white circle is my dock, and the red X is my slip.

The lake that I sail is not that big but still a lot of fun. Two miles long and one mile wide. I can go 20 km around the lake in 5 hours. During the week I have it to myself with a few fishing boats around the edge.

For now, I'm stuck in AZ with a couple of good-sized reservoirs, but someday I will make all the world's oceans my waters.

My day sailing area. Lately we have been doing a lot of cruising though. Getting ready to cross the Gulf to go to Tampa and either Bimini or if the Gulf Stream is rough, to the Dry Tortugas.

EW is Snows cut which goes to the Cape Fear River and then North to Wilmington Or South To SouthPort and either out to the Atlantic or continue South On the ICW. North On the ICW takes you to Carolina Beach inlet and out to the Atlantic or continue toward Wrightsville Beach.

Catalina 27 3657 Lake Monroe
Lake Monroe, Indiana. Largest lake in the state. The Hoosier National Forest is to the south, thousands of acres of designated wilderness. The east end of the lake is not accessible by sailboat, but it's a wonderful place to kayak and fish.

Included are two pics from flooding last year. It's a Corps of Engineers reservoir, so we have to live with this sometimes, but last year set the record and water actually went over the emergency spillway.
We had john boats rigged to ferry lines for getting to our slips.

Where in AZ. I lived in Tucson most of my life. We moved to Venice, Fl about two years ago to be by the sea and sand... And so I could buy a sailboat :)

I sail Lake Pleasant, North of Phoenix in the winter and Theodore Roosevelt Lake, near Globe, for the remainder. Summer's a'comin', and soon it'll be too darned hot anywhere nearby. My misadventures are in my blog, linked at my sig below.

Lol, I'm from Globe. My parents still live there. I used to go out to the Lake (Roosevelt) all the time as a kid. I'll definitely check out you blog. Fair winds :)

The last picture was the day we launched April 9th and that was a record early launch for our lake! Pictured are the two dedicated boats Wild Oats and Utopia!

The hard way :)
On my Mac. Print the image to a PDF. Open the PDF with photoshop. Crop to my liking. Save image as a jpeg. Upload as an attachment.
I'm sure there's an easier way...
