Should I purchase H-170?

I'm thinking of purchasing a lightly used H-170, but am concerned about all the reports of cracking decks, floors, etc., and general poor quality. I live in Pennsylvania and it does get cold in the winter, and hot in the summer. I am also concerned about ease of selling if I decide to sell it. I am also considering Precision 15 or 185.
Any advice?

Thanks

IMHO, it would depend on $$$. If the Precisions are carefully used and priced to sell, I personally would prefer one of the two with a lean to the 185. If you've found a 170 for a deal and the Precisions would have to be new or near-new, then that would lead me to the 170. Can you store the boat in a garage? How about on the trailer at a marina? (thinking of the Precisions with fixed keels). Also don't forget the American 18. Looks to be a decent fiberglass boat for less $ than the Precision. Link:

Good Luck.

Well, I lucked out. I found a fairly priced, barely used, almost pristine, 2004 P-185 with a honda 2hp a few hundred miles from home. Thanks for your help.
