Should I get a #3 jib?

I own a 1990 34. We have a furled 150 Genoa. In the routine heavy winds that pop up on lake Michigan, even with the main reefed, I also need to roller reef the genoa. I dont like doing this as it seems to put way too much stress on the headsail, and am considering buying a used 3 jib. However, the fairlead tracks for the genny stop way short of the shrouds. I think I would have to install a new set of tracks further abow. Does anyone have any recommendations about how to rig up a jib, ie, do I have to install some new tracks and if so, where, the 3 sets of shrouds leave no room on the deck, leaving the cabin roof as a possibility. Any comments/suggestions about experience/necessity of a #3 jib are also truly appreciated. Thanks.

Consult with a sailmaker.....

.... Get a 110 for the furler, it can be effective roller-reefed down to 80 or 90 percent. A sailmaker will re-cut a used sail or build you a new one to fit your existing track. It won't cost you anything to talk to a sail loft's consultant. They will offer remedies to your problem, a new sail quote and a re-cut estimate.
