Through a logic circuit, a very low voltage could be sent to the light. The resistance of the bulb will cause a current flow, hence proving that the bulb is good. No current detected would indicate an open which says the bulb is burnt out. Same principle of a simplistic ohm meter. With that, a logic 1 or 0 could be recorded to indicate good (1=TRUE) or fault (0=FALSE).The box records whether the running lights are switched on or not. Does it record whether a bulb is burned out?
