Shore power OK, 12volt, nogo.

My Coolmatic / Danfos 35 / Mobiltronic has been running great for the past 18 months, now it will only run on 240v shore power.New batteries 3 months ago.When switching to 12 v, the compressor runs for a few seconds only and what I have observed is that the tactile click disappears from the thermostat when the knob is turned but returns when on 240 volts.I have not checked any output voltages as yet but the absence of the thermostat click has thrown me.

Mobitronic rectifier?

The rectifier actually puts out 26 volts, DC. I have seen damaged modules that shut down in a low voltage manner, when the voltage is actually over 13. It's as if they are a 24VDC system only. Have the module checked by your local service dealer.
