Centerboard Info
Ed type in "centerboard" in the forum archive and hit the O'Day 25 model and O'Day owner forum buttons. There is plenty of info on this procedure. It's not an difficult repair. The fun part is getting the boat high enough for the board to drop down. Raising the boat by jacking it up off the trailer or if its on stands you can dig a hole under the keel (make sure the boat weight is not resting on the keel and add more support to the hull). I have not removed the board myself but do maintain the pennent and clip by scuba diving under the boat.
