I have a Weems & Plath Blue Water Time & Tide Clock (one year old) that keeps stopping. When I take the battery (AA) out and put it back in it starts to work again. I think the battery may be working loose from the contacts. Has anyone else experience this -- if so, what did you do to fix the problem? Thanks.

Clean the terminals in the clock and
on the battery witha clean cotton cloth. Rub firmly as if there was an invisible coating that you are trying to remove. In fact, that is exactly what you are doing!
