Ship Collision Off Dutch Coast

I watched the last voyage of the Baltic Ace a Ro-Ro & Passenger ship 485' long from Zeebrugge in http://shipfinder.co/ and it was a sickening sight to see its track just stop in mid North Sea and to know the ship had sunk.
This site will display the track of any vessel and this can be in sped up time by 120 times.
Although the record begins at midnight yesterday, one must be patient as the ship does not go to sea until after 18:00 hrs.
I was interested to see the track of the Corvus J (Container Ship) which sank her to see which was the give way vessel but it appears the system has not tracked this vessel since August.
Makes one wonder if they were not transmitting on AIS and if this was a contributary reason for the collission.
Five bodies have been found with a further 6 still missing. The search by the Dutch Coastguards has been called off.
