I recently purchased this boat and I am having a problem with the shift lever going from forward to reverse thru nuetral. It takes quite some force to move back and forth. I lubed the linkage where it goes into the transmission. I have checked the cables where they run from the steerage locker up toward the pedestal, they look fine. Is there a mechanism in the pedestal itself? Any advice will be appreciated.
