I need help in locating a new shift cable for my 1979 Hunter 27, running the original 8 hp Yanmar diesel! The original was a Morse red jacket, very stiff and heavy duty....beyond that, I am lost as to a replacement!
I replaced mine with Teleflex, available at Napa. You might as well do both while you have everything apart....Take the old ones with you to get the proper length.
Al...thank you for your response about my cables, I would like to know what model or serial number you replaced your old cable with! I do not have the old cable for reference other than knowing it was a Morse Red Jacket, 8'length, and approximate 5/8" or better in diameter! Ronnie appalachicola@aol.com
