I'M LOOKING FOR READY MADE SHEETS FOR BOTH V AND AFT BIRTHS FOR MY 1992 37.5 DID HUNTER SUPPLY THESE WITH THE BOAT WHEN SOLD AS THEY DID ON OLDER MOLDELS? IF SO, IS THERE A SUPPLIER THAT HAS THEM ALREADY PRE-MADE?

Yes I have a 1999 450 and it came with sheets but they were off poor guality and were not fitted for the center cabin except for the fancy top cover. we live aboard and the covers are nice,but have no place to put them when we take them off. wher does every body put the mattress for the saloon table when not in use,mine is stowed over the two closets in the center cabin and it looks lousy.

Curious about custom sheets.
Why? Why not regular sheets simply tucked under around the outside? Particularly on the 450/460 where the beds are almost standard size. But even on the 37.5 where you don't have the 'v' cutout like my v-berth does. Even there I use regular sheets. What am I missing?

Home made?
Our Cat 30 had custom sheets for the V-berth and quarter berth. I used this as a template. With a serger and a good first mate our boat has custom sheets, blankets, and comforters. I used to use "normal" sheets and tuck them in. With home made bedding there is no bulk and the fit is perfect. The only thing we could not cut down was our electric blankets. You can really tell the difference when the berths are made! Just like anything else aboard, our custom improvements really make our boats a part of us. Arrgghh...
