I am to remove the stoppers on the end of my tracks, but even after taking the screw off, it will not budge, could it have fused/welded itself on with time or am I missing something? I tried prying it off with a screwdriver and after I tried hitting said screwdriver with a hammer, but no joy
Here is what I am working on.

if needed I will take a better picture later today

If they are dissimilar metals (track and stopper) it could be corroded together. Are you planning to reinstall the stoppers?

You may need to try and find replacements and destroy the old ones getting them off.

I was planning on reusing the old ones, as far as I can see they seem to be the same material/metal.
I will look more into it before I make a decision, thank you

Looking at th image, The aft stop appears to be a rivet. The fore on looks to be a standard track stopper. Likely held in place by a screw. On the other hand a forever owner might have also used an adhesive like the devils brew (3M 5200). It would have been additional security. It might require heat or additional force.
Here are what typical track stoppers look like.

Why do you think you need them? I removed the aft stoppers on my track 20 years ago. I did it because I was buying/trying various different designs of new jib sheet cars and needed quick access. Never bothered to put them back, no problems since.
