Sheet organizer

The sheet lines and others running into my cockpit are at best a big messy hassel with regards to sorting and handling all of the various lines, 13 in all on my boat a Hunter Legend 37. At the recent Vancouver B.C. floating boat show I saw a Beneteau 36 with a real neat sheet organizer. It was a simple device that put a bungee cord looped through the middle of a sheet line that had been carefully wound up and the said cord looped through and hung off a simple hook attached to the exterior cabin top near the cockpit, thus ensuring all lines were kept in a neat and orderly fashion. Has anyone ever seen such a thing and if so where do I find them. Thanks, Barrie

Barrie: If you have the new W/M Master catalog they are on PG 698. They are from Ronstan (WM Part#142604, Ronstan Part# RF6010C) $5.00/pr.

Barrie, We have used those same items on

our boat and they are great. They also are great Christmas gifts for the brother-in-law with a cockpit that looks like a rattlesnake den. Ray S/V Speedy

It also helps to cut the lines to their minimum length (plus 1 foot for peace of mind). That way you don't have any excess.
