before it was plywood and cheap maybe pine. door wouldn't open and close. the block accross the top had started to sag. But then again, it was plywood and not a solid chunk of purple heart hardwood
This and all the new interior trim is purple heart, and sepele marine grade ply for the bulkhead walls. I'm very very excited to see it all installed.
