Had a great sail yesterday. First time out on the Stargazer, and all went smoothly.

It was a little crowded going out the Hillsboro inlet. LOL

Main sail went up pretty smoothly. I need to lube the cars a bit.

Doing a couple of spins in the ICW waiting for the 14th street bridge.

Getting ready to unfurl the new Jib.

A gorgeous day for sailing.

My Lovely Wife Michelle at the helm.

The boys hoisting the main.

Tristan at the helm.

Headed home after a successful first day on the water.

It looked like a great time. No leaky ports anymore either.

I just got that exact clamp on cup holder for Christmas!

I still have ports to replace, but I couldn't pass on the opportunity to sail with the family.

I highly recommend the cup holder. I got it for Christmas as well. Really works well. I am going to order another. Did you keep the Velcro straps? They seem to hang up on my Beer Koozies.

Yes but we will be jealous of you this summer when we are dealing with hot, humid, buggy, rainy, no air days. While you have nice sunny days with cool evenings, I'll be sweating my but off while the ocean turns to glass, and there isn't enough breeze to blow the mosquitos away. I hate having to use the iron wind.

The optimal solution would be to have two boats. Winter in FL, and Summer up north.

I agree with Pateco with one caveat. We can still head off to the Bahamas during those months. He did not mention we also deal with the hurricane season during summer months but we are used to that. Looks like a winner.

Now we know what the hot ticket item was on both coasts for Christmas. I did get the velcro strips, but haven't tried them yet. Next trip to the boat is on Jan 7 for a couple of days. Probably won't be too much wind. Now the summer is different here. 25 knot winds every day. This might be where you want that second boat. Just don't fall in the water in summer. You'll freeze.
