Every Sunday in November WYC boats still in the water race/sail to a bar at the other side of Lake Minnetonka for a beer. We call it the Shackleton Cup, and it usually snows on half of them. Yesterday, not so much. 73 degrees and 10-18 knots of southery breeze! And an all-lady crew. Regulars Sharon, Patty and Pam, join BlueJ full-timers Jean and Bria for a great day on the water. Thankfully Jodi knew I had invited the entire BlueJ crew pool to come; can I help it if only ladies want to come??
Upwind kinda cool with the apparent wind over the 52f water.
Group shot at the dock
Downwind, we managed 8.5 knots sustained.
Upside to global warming I guess!
