Ladds in Stockton, Waltons in Rio Vista....
Sanders: You may want to check with Ladds in Stockton. If you do not know how to get their via land, you would take I-5 to Stockton and exit at March Lane, head west towards the river and you will be there. There are always several boats on the hard there. Another place might be Waltons in Rio Vista or Waltons on Bruno's Island. If you call Bob Walton he would let you know which yard would be best for your stay. There are also a couple of yards around the Antioch bridge (one I believe is Bridgeway, not sure of the name). Just remember that working on a boat in the Delta in the winter months is not the most pleasant times. When the fog sets in you can have temps in the high 30's and low 40's for days on end. Once the sun shines, you are usually okay.
