I have a Standard Horizon DS45 depth sounder. When I bought the boat, the owner didn't have the instruction manual. I am at a complete loss on how to set alarms on this thing. If anyone has this depth sounder, I'd love to hear from you. I just need help setting alarms. Thanks! Gary Call

got it

I keep the instructions on my boat and will be there this weekend - if no-one else gives you an answer before that then I can copy/fax/email/whatever my instruction manual - Roger Hunter 37 Destiny

Setting Horizon DS 45 Alarm

sect. 5.1.2 page 13. "Press and hold ON OFF keys for three seconds to enable alarm mode. Press the off(down)key to select the shallow alarm. "LO" displays momentarily. Press either ON (UP) or OFF (DOWN) key to change the setting. Press the depth key to exit to normal operation. Or to disable the shallow alarm, press the OFF (down) key until the display decreases to off." The above procedure works for the Deep Alarm also except at step 2.. Press the ON (up) key to set deep alarm. UP displays momentarily. Good luck and good sailing.. Jim
