I FIND THE SETTE BACK REST ARE IN THE WAY WHEN YOU ARE USING SETTE FOR SLEEPING. THE BACK REST NEED TO BE TAKEN OFF FOR PROPER SLEEPING OR MOVED UP ABOUT 6"INCHES. HAS ANYONE COME UP A MODIFICATION TO MOVE BACK REST UP. ANY SUGGSTION WOULD BE HELPFUL. THANKS, WOODY

What boat are you talking about, Woody?

My Oday 272 has back rests like the ones you describe, but I usually tuck a shoulder under the one I'm sleeping under and make the best of it. There are a couple of great ideas on how to make the settees into one large bed in the archives. Check it out. Tom

Back Rest

on my O'Day 28 there are two addtionial teak fittings to hold the back rest higher and out of the way for sleeping. Good luck
