Hi guys, Just wanted to make everyone with an Atomic 4 in their Catalina aware of a major leak that I found over the last two weeks. On my Catalina 27, a fuel hose runs from the starboard stern rail down to the gas tank, located under the starboard aft bunk. This fuel hose runs through a hole in the FLOOR of aft gear locker. The hole was, at one point, sealed around the hose to prevent the ingress of water. Recently, I found the seal had broken, and was letting in large quantities of water while heeled hard to starboard. If you have a Catalina with this setup, please inspect the juncture where your fuel hose runs through the floor of your aft gear locker. Check for leaks, and to make sure that the sealing agent around the fuel hose is intact and functional. My vessel was leaking, and the water was settling under the starboard settee. Under the worst conditions, the water was migrating to the port settee, as well as the engine compartment. Best of luck! Rob
