Where can I find the serial # on a 1974 O'day 20 if their is one

on the transom just under the rub rail stamped into the fiberglass. if i remember correctly, it should be on the starboard side.

OK thanks. that's where I thought it would be.
My Siren was in the same place. It's gone
some one must of sanded it off.

My 1979 DS II has it dead-center on the outside of the transom. Technically, USCG Requires it to be in the location mentioned by Lord Nelson. O'DAY's problem, not ours!

i double checked the location while swimming the other day and found i was wrong. it was in the center of the transom.
