Dont you mean the Malvinos, I thought that is what they are called this side of the pond. The Argies havent a hope of getting them back, the British have four typhoon euro fighters on the island, which can pretty much splash anything that the south americans have. they also have a submarine stationed off the island. But, if Argentina was to get the posession of the islands by illegal means, they uk couldnt mount a strike like they did in the early eighties, they dont have the means to do it, dont even have a functioning aircraft carrier, and in the 81 invasion, they were a bit low with only two carriers in the south atlantic. they also no longer have the harrier jump jet, but they could probably just pay the russians to go down there, and get the islands back for them.

I also enjoy reading of your adventure, if you had gotten into trouble a big yellow Seaking flown by a prince would have been there to help you.
These islands are most definately the Falklands, i should know, the last time i was there was in 1982 at 20000 foot over the top of them. Many British servicemen died to keep democracy alive in the Falklands.
