I'm in the market as were . Colonial Beach
If anyone is interested, there is going to be a raft up in Canoe Neck Creek (off of St. Clements Bay) on September 19-20. There should be boats from the Middle Potomac area there (Dahlgren, Cobb Island, and Colonial Beach). Anyone in the area is welcome to join up with the raft up!

Master's of the Potomac

Matt, FWIW, the Quantico Yacht Cluib is running our annual Master's of the Potomac race from Quantico to Colonial Beach (55nm) and back that weekend. Would love to raft up, but I have priorities.

You guys need to catch up with Dahlgren to share some of these race dates. Canoe Neck Creek is about 15 Kn. from Colonial Beach so that would be a bit far for a race. We haven't been going up river because some of us are unsure of good anchor areas in the upper parts of the Potomac River.

On another thought, I am considering sailing up to Port Tobacco River this weekend if you are interested in heading that way. I am trying to recruit some more boats!

I'll give it a thought

Haven't been up there yet, I hear the water is pretty skinny.

BTW, we did anchor off of St Clements right before the 4th and it was great.
