I bought new sails for my 1991 Catalina 28 tall mast and would like to get rid of my old sails. Anybody know of a dealer or website that I can use to do so? Bill Greenberg

ebay, ebay, and ebay. I have sold 7 or 8 sails that I thought were literally trash for way too much money. ebay is a good place to sell, but if you are buying, you really have to know what things are worth.
The amazing thing to me is, even though I describe items very truthfully, and use a lot of detailed photos, some people just get caught up in "auction fever" I guess. I've never had anything but positive feedback. One man's trash, another man's treasure sort of thing. With ebay you are reaching a much larger audience than you can by other means: More potential customers. ( I have seen other items sometimes go for more than new retail, though! Go figure.)
Bacon and associates broker used sails but their commission is expensive.
Maybe you should keep some sail material around for repairs etc....
