You don't HAVE to fix anything, buyers may want to make an adjustment (down) or reject a boat that shows serious or dangerous deficiencies on a survey, but many sales are "AS IS, WHERE IS".

You don't have to do anything but if it is dangerous, you might consider it for the obvious reason(s) of safety, consideration and eliminating a point for negotiations.
ABYC recommendations are largely irrelevant, especially in a 1980s boat.

Would you do that in a house? Really.
Old stuff is usually "grandfathered in", like fuses instead of breakers, etc.
If someone who wants to buy your boat insists on upgrades like that, either he's crazy or, if you agree to do it, you are.
If you've had the boat for a long time, then you've probably added things like fuses at the batteries and other things.
Even if you haven't, AS IS is a good way to start. If the new owner wants to upgrade, that's his choice.
It's like sails: 29 year old sails on a used boat...OH, NO!
Think about it as the BUYER as well as the seller.
There is NO "requirement" to do so, or to even think about it.

Regarding selling the boat and the 110 wiring: Who said you should? If the surveyor listed it and it is something unsafe I would consider it. I'm not a lawyer, and don't play one on TV, but it seems to me you may have some degree of legal entanglement if there were a fire or injury. Your name could possibly be added to a suit even if you aren't the real target. Lawyers usually advise that liability can't be signed away. "As Is" may not be enough. Its a murky world in tort law. At least if it's in the survey, the claim that you concealed the problem shouldn't exist. I don't think you have to provide a 110 system that is 2014 grade, but unsafe conditions is another thing. By unsafe, I mean non GFI outlets, improper grounding, substandard connections… stuff like that.

We are in Canada. That standard is for new construction in US only. It is commonly used in Canada but is not a requirement. You should fix any obvious or dangerous stuff that will show up on an “insurance survey”. All of the marinas on our area require liability insurance and as such you must have had an “insurance survey” at one time (every five years?).
