Instead of running the control lines to the tiller
Instead of running the control lines to the tiller you run them to a drum installed on the wheel. The drum usually has a clutch so you can engage the wheel when you have everything trimmed properly. Depending on the setup you can run the lines to the same side of the wheel or run them to both sides of the cockpit just like the lines for the tiller. For that just use a wheel lock
For that just use a wheel lock. If you don’t have one you can buy a kit from Edson and it’s an easy install. I use mine quite a bit. All the best, Robert Gainer
