Read through a West Marine and/or Defender catalog, and then Google sailboat autopilots. There are many models with many different $$s. Do you have a wheel or a tiller, for starters?

The Raymarine wheel pilots, like the X5, are a great fit for a C-30. Installing a below deck unit in a C-30 can be a process and also significantly more expensive. Raymarine is the only large scale company still building a wheel pilot..

There's another company called CPT that makes good, standalone wheel pilots: http://www.cptautopilot.com/

They don't interface with other instruments. I've found that interface completely unnecessary, but many like it.
