I bought a Selden removable bowsprit & GX15 furler. Not yet installed but preliminary mock up looks only to give me about 4-5 inches of clearance between my bow pulpit & the torsion cable. I am thinking this will not be a problem but would like some feedback if possible. Thanks.

I think that that is too close as the wind will pull it up against
your bow pulpit and maybe you can add the selden sprit pole.
