There are not a lot of these boats around, there were not a lot of them built, and were mostly found in the NE. I just purchased on in New Jersey last fall, and brought it back to La. Total trip distance approx. 2500 miles, inshore and offshore. I really like the boat. They are well built, fairly fast, have a fairly roomy interior, and sail well. I can not give you any details on truly bad conditions, as we didn't get into any. Did have some 30 knot winds in the Chessy and no problem, and got into a front in the Gulf, 20 or 25 knot winds and seas apporx. 6ft. The boat handled these with no problem, although I did manage to blow out the jib. That was my fault. They do have a couple of inherant problems. Most notable is the rudder bushings. I have not replaced mine yet, so do not have any first hand info. But there are some posts about them, and there is s place in Fla. that makes new bushings from some high tech plastic. If you have any specific questions I will do my best to answer them for you.
