Ladies & Gentlemen,
I have a Horizon Sails (http://www.horizonsails.com) 1.9oz Mylar Reacher-Drifter Genoa sail in very nice condition for sale. While originally built for a 299, the sail could be used on similar boats as well.
Approx 38'luff, 35'leach and 18'6" foot (measurements are close but approximate)
Looks like a #6 luff tape to me but I'm no expert.
Actually, I don't know for sure that this sail is for an S-299 except for the markings on the sail and on the sailbag. Looks right though. I traded for the sail hoping that I could use it on my boat, but it's too big for what I have.
There are no rips or tears in the sail and the mylar is still relatively crinkly (a word?). Does not appear to have been sailed all that much. Pretty clean, no rust stains, but a few areas that you might want to wash at the end of the season.
I am asking $225.00 for the sail and I have a number of photos and additional description if anyone is interested.
Fair Winds!
