I recently replaced my rudder when it fell off after 26 years, with an altered catalina 30 rudder ( recommended by boat yard owner ). We race the boat and are convinced that this is slowing us down. It is thicker and heavier. We would love to track down an actual Seidelman 25 rudder, and would greatly appreciate any help with this.

S25 Rudder
Hey Bill, I actually have the same problem as Conor. I have an '81 S25. Last summer she snapped her rudder and being on a college budget I was forced to modify a soling rudder. I plan on rebuilding a correct rudder this spring and was hoping to get the measurements. If there is any way I could take a look at your boat it would be much appreciated. I'd be happy to show it to you. The boat is on the hard right now, and we just pulled the rudder to work on the bushing. The rudder is here at home right now, so it'll be really easy to measure it right now, for the next week or so. I send you my phone number.
