Seeking pros/cons re 2000 Jeanneau 52.2

My wife and I are considering moving up to a 2000 Jeanneau 52.2. Will be using as live-aboard, and doing some coastal cruising on west coast of US and Mexico.
Seeking any and all tips or wisdom re pros and cons off this specific vessel.

Thanks for the quick reply. I agree. I asked the broker re any charter history, and he indicated it only had two owners and the boat was only in the SF Bay Area as a private vessel, never in charter. The condition of the boat looks to be first rate and the engine hours are <1000 (after 18 years). It appears it was always maintained via a local boat yard, so I will be able to access records. Any other means of confirming or verifying it was never in charter?

If it's the first boat that comes up it appears to have had the same owner over a decade, now owned by a "trustee".

The equipment list (it's hard to tell its current status) seems to have some items that would make your use work -- the central heating system, for example.
The sails are relatively new.

The listing of PETER CALTHORPE in the documentation matches an architect, urban planner in San Francisco. It would appear that his death hasn't been reported. There are variety of reasons a Trustee would listed -- not all of them are bad.

I can't comment on the overall pros and cons of this model however it looks absolutely beautiful! I would agree with the Brokers comments, much more robust in build compared to today's examples in the same class. Keep us posted on how you make out! popcorn..
