We owned the daysailer that was in the film Mr. Hobbs Takes a Vacation. We bought it
through an ad in a Los Angeles newspaper's classified section. We sailed it in the 1960s
out of Marina del Rey and Long Beach, Ca. We took it on one trip over to Catalina Island.
It's name was Recess (since I was a teacher in El Segundo, Ca and my husband was going
to night school at UCLA at the time). We sold it to a friend of ours Jim Komar. We can't
recall the sail number. Just got to wondering where it might have ended up.
